Check whether your cables are connected good.
Hello Albert.
Just read your post and feel very sad as you are facing difficulties in installing your satellite tv. I would like to suggest you to refer to User Manual provided along with your satellite tv, all the steps are mentioned in it and it is so simple to install.
Thanks for your post and stay in touch.

Try calling the dish network or google it.
The best way is to set your satellite receiver to it dish pointing setting, and adjust the antenna dish for maximum signal strength. If you are worried about messing it up. Take a fine point marker and put two marks on the movable section before you start the adjustment.
There are 2 different ways in fixing your problem:

1. You can go to Google and type in your problem in the search box. There will be millions or thousands of search results that includes blogs, websites, and forums which can help you configure your problem for free.
2. You can also call your satellite tv provider and tell them that you need help in pointing your satellite dish to the right location. Unfortunately, you will be paying the installation guy to fix this problem.
Installing a dish antenna yourself is not difficult. If you are using a DISH 500, you will be able to receive simultaneous satellite signals from the 110° and 119° satellite slots. With the slightly smaller 18-inch DISH 300, you can only pick either one of these satellite slots.
